Sot de Ferrer, in the Alto Palancia, grew from a medieval palace and James I's reconquest in 1245. Today it is known for the Zig Zag festival.
History
In 1245 James I reconquered the place and ceded it to Hurtado de Lihori, who named it Soto. The palace from which the municipality arose has 13th-century Gothic architecture. The hermitage of San Antonio is recorded by 1681. The Zig Zag festival has been held since 2019 and in 2025 the INE records 492 inhabitants.
